01Who we are

"We", "us", "our" and "EventConnecto" refer to Event Connect LLC, a privately held company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with a registered office at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801.

We operate three brands: medical conference registration and accommodation under EventConnecto, safari and trekking travel under Africa Safari Reservation, and worldwide sports and live event tickets under PrimaSeats. We act as the data controller for information you provide to any of them.

Information you give us

• Name, email address, phone number, and country or city.
• Billing and delivery details needed to confirm and deliver your booking, including, where relevant, the hotel or collection point you nominate.
• Travel dates, event, seating, room and quantity preferences for your order.
• Nationality and passport details, where a booking requires them for park permits, visas or airline ticketing.
• Payment information, which is processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
• The content of messages you send us by phone, email or web form.

Information we collect automatically

Device and browser type, IP address and approximate location, the pages you view and the searches you make, and cookies and similar technologies.

03How we use your information

• To process, confirm and deliver your booking or ticket order.
• To arrange accommodation, park permits, transfers and event access on your behalf.
• To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
• To send order updates, delivery details and service messages.
• To display prices in your chosen currency.
• To improve our website, troubleshoot problems and prevent fraud.
• To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
• To send marketing about relevant events where you have consented. You can opt out at any time.

04When we share information

We share personal information only as far as is needed to deliver the service you have asked for:

• Travel and event suppliers, including safari operators, lodges, national park authorities, domestic airlines, conference organisers, ticketing suppliers, couriers and collection-point operators.
• Payment providers, to process your payment securely.
• Service providers for analytics, hosting, communications and support tools, acting on our instructions.
• Authorities, where we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

05Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, to remember your preferences and to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies load only where you have accepted them, and you can change your choice at any time.

06How long we keep your data

We keep booking and payment records for up to seven years to meet accounting and regulatory requirements. Other personal information is kept for as long as it is needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and fraud-prevention obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each message.

08International transfers

We operate globally and work with suppliers across Africa, Europe and the United States. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.

09How we protect your data

We use SSL encryption, secure payment gateways, restricted access systems and protected booking databases. Payments are handled over encrypted connections by our payment providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data at every step.

10Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

11SMS and text messaging

We offer optional SMS messaging for service and customer-care communications about your bookings, never for unrelated marketing.

• If you tick the SMS consent box at checkout, we store your phone number and your consent, including the date, time and the exact wording you agreed to. The box is optional and unchecked by default. Opting in is never required to book.
• We send booking confirmations, updates, event notifications and support replies. These are transactional messages, not promotional ones.
• Mobile opt-in information and phone numbers are not shared, sold or rented to any third party for their marketing purposes. We use a messaging provider solely to deliver these texts on our behalf.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply under your carrier plan.
